Pretty Good
Tom went in to get it. Said he had to stand in line for one thing and then the other. And we had called in for take-out. The food was good, though. Tom didn't like the fries, said they were, too squishy. I like squishy fries, so I liked them. Chicken fried steak was good, tasty. Chocolate pie was sorta bland. Seems to be a nice family place. Great Place
There was 8 of us and we almost all had different menu items. Every one of our dinners was just super. We loved the salad and potato bar and the bar with gravy, chili, and veggies and cheese for the sandwiches.

Best Footlongs Ever
I am one to load a homemade dog down. However, at this place...all you need is meat, extra cheese and mayo, and you will have the perfect footlong ever. I have lived in Marshall, Tyler, Commerce, and now Rusk, and my hubby and I will drive all the way just for (I get) a footlong, and (he gets) a cheeseburger. And the fries even have the skin on...mmm..mmm.. good! Let's not forget the bakery, try the fruit covered cheesecake...its to die for!    [19 Jan 2007 17:02:35]

Good Food
We're new residents in Longview. We have been there twice.
The burgers are great and I really like the chili. We also think the chicken fried steak is good except they don't have mashed potatoes to go with it. Baked potatoes and steak and gravy just don't go together, but that's just me.    [27 Feb 2007 19:53:22]

Favorite Burger of All Time
Their Bacon Swiss Burger is my favorite burger of all time. I like how the burger is left open faced with no condiments, so you can make it just the way you like it. No worry about too much this or that, if it's wrong, it's your own fault!

The complimentary chili is great too! Here's a tip: put the grated cheese at the bottom of the bowl first, then pour on the chili. That way it melts.
