1968 Back in 1968 my Grandpa, Ad Guther Mercer, always took us to the Creemee. He made us put on a dress before he would take us. I was always so excited when my Grandpa would say, "Put you on a little dress and we'll go get a Cherry Coke." I knew that that meant we were headed to the Creemee. We would pile into his old Chevy that smelled like only old people can, and headed to the Creemee. Those are wonderful memories. [26 Mar 2003 21:22:26]

Creemee I absolutely love the creemee shop. I remember when I was little, I would get huge banana splits with hot fudge drizzeld all over it. Those always made good memories. [09 Jul 2003 22:21:23]

GI passing through in 1969 My new wife and I, were on our way to Bastrop, Louisiana from Mather AFB, CA., when we experienced car trouble. Fortunate for us it was there in Loraine, TX. We found a very friendly town People were so very nice to us. I shall allways have a found memory of these fine people.
We went to the Creemee Restaurant while waiting for my Dad to come and help us. Needless to say the food and people were the best that I have found in the WORLD. [02 Dec 2004 14:51:11]
