Great Food, Cheap Prices My inlaws live in Los Fresnos and everytime we visit them we go to Julia's. I especially love her breakfast plates. I highly recommend her restaurant to anyone passing by. [05 Mar 2002 17:46:10]

good food I love the food but this place is overrated. Their mexican plate is good and their burgers are also good. [10 Nov 2003 12:47:23]

A lesson in cooking I have been a resident in Los Fresnos over 26 years and I have eaten there only twice. My experience was not pleasant. I noticed that the quality of the food needs improvement. I was raised in a real mexican home cooked environment and let me tell you this restuarant comes nothing close to delicious. I ordered the enchilada plate and the tortillas were soggy and the sauce tasted from those cheap priced canned echilada sauces. I am puzzled why anyojne would actually consider this place good. I understand that most people have not been exposed to authentic mexican dishes. [05 Apr 2004 11:15:34]

Aweful service by the owner Lately I visited this restaruant and I am a white complexion person. The owner tought I did not understand Spanish. She was badmouthing her workers and some customers thinking we did not understand what she was saying. And yes I did understand every word she said even if she had her huge smile on making everyone believe she was talking glory to everyone when she was really talking trash. The staff was nice but the owner is the one that needs a class on manners. [08 Apr 2004 10:55:24]

Rude to workers Everything in the restaurant was good except for the treatment the owner gives her workers. [22 Jul 2004 12:51:17]

Excellent Preparation We have repeatedly visited Julia's, to the point that the waitstaff and owners recognize our specific preferences whether visiting or picking up food to go. The food is of high quality, well cooked, though a tiny bit undersized in portions compared to large Mexican Food chains. [28 Nov 2006 17:39:01]

The fajitas are the best ! We are winter Texans. We look forward to Julias every year. The place is often busy, especially at lunch time, with what appear to be many locals. We think the steak fajitas are the best we have ever had anywhere. Have not been there for breakfast. [16 Dec 2006 06:23:30]
