Excellent I was very impressed with the way the meal is set up. First our waiter brought us a relish tray with olives, green onions, and pickles. Then he brought us a french onion soup (very good)and there was an enormous cracker basket on the table with many types of crackers. Then we were able to order and I ordered a 10 ounce Filet, medium. This steak was so tender and juicy and there was so much flavor, I have to give it a perfect 10! There was a baked potato topped generously with all the trimmings as well as a basket full of cheese rolls and mini blueberry muffinis (to die for) which our waiter told us was the house specialty. I didn't have an appetizer or desert so I have no comments on those. [19 Jan 2001 16:11:55]

Presentation. The food is always very good. But the presentation has something to be desired. With all the business this restaurant does, why do they still have banquet tables? Why do they serve the side sauces in plastic throw away cups? One thing I really would have liked with my dinner was a baked sweet potato, and it wasn,t on the menu. [15 May 2002 11:32:08]

Sacked at the 50 Yard Line What has happened to the 50 Yard Line! It used to be a treat to go there for special occuations, but in my opinion, not anymore. The food is so-so, service is marginal, and prices are high. With that said, I can't deny that they still have the best muffins in town. [07 Feb 2004 10:55:25]
