Good down home cookin
This place makes you feel like your home. A very American restaurant with a traditional and hearty American menu. Cedar Creek Cafe is apparently well known for its breakfast. The servings on mine and all the plates around me were very generous. The waitress was very comfortable. The cooking area is not hidden away and even the owner was there and very hospitable. The environment itself is what you would expect for a small American restaurant. Lots of country theme goodies on the walls with a focus on fishing which seemed appropriate since this is a lake town. In short the place was clean, the service was good and the food was great. I give this a 9 out of 10.    [24 Aug 2005 13:23:38]
