Early Monday Dinner My husband had a delicious Patty Melt on rye bread and fries. Sandwiches and Burgers are really large. Two small people would probably want to half it. They kept his cola glass filled. I had happy hour Shiner Bock for $1.50 Guacomole and chips. I loved the Guacomole (large serving, I couldn't finish it all. Inside is all clean and has a family-sports bar style. Free buckets of peanuts are always fun. The smoking section is well seperated from nonsmokers. All of the foods we ate were hot and fresh. We would recommend it, especially to families. Great place to watch the game or Olympics. [12 Feb 2002 11:50:18]

save your money Nothing here is actually made here. You can tell that everything here comes frozen out of the back of a restaurant supply truck. The bench seating is uncomfortable. The beer is warm. The soft drinks are flat. Most dishs are straight from the freezer to drop fryer. The burgers are poor and over priced. The noise from the game room is annoying and the bare cement floor lends itself to the noise level. [08 Nov 2002 17:37:53]

Must be nuts to want to eat here Food was below average and over priced. I never saw anyone who worked there even smile, let alone acknowledge you were there. Took a long time to settle the bill and when there was a discrepancy, the manager argued with us. The customer is NEVER right in this establishment. [01 Nov 2004 13:47:05]

Great Atmosphere This is a fun place to go with your kids or large group! We frequently find ourselves there on a Friday or Saturday after the boys games. The kids run off to the game room while we chat or play trivia. The food is decent but the staff is awesome! To locals, the manager, Jake, is friendly and very appreciative that we come there. On a boring, rainy day it's a great place to take your friends and hang out for a couple of hours. [04 Sep 2006 11:03:08]

Nut House - a laid back place The Nut House has a good variety of burgers & sandwiches. There's a potato nacho appetizer served in a black iron skillet that is excellent. The service could be a bit iffey - have plenty of time set aside. Food is good & filling. Free refills on the sodas & tea. The free peanuts (fill up a bucket) are a nice touch. [09 Nov 2006 16:40:51]
