At the counter, the ladies who worked there were helpful and friendly. We got a dozen donuts and a thing of milk for $7.79. We LOVED the apple fritters, but the creme filled long donuts with chocolate on top (long johns?) were AWFUL. They tasted like chemicals. Unfortunately, that was one of the first donuts that we tried from our dozen, and it completely ruined the taste of everything we tried afterwards. We called the shop to ask if anyone else had complained, and they were actually quite rude. I described the flavor as tasting the way a nail salon would taste (I didn't know how else to describe it!) and they said "Well I don't know what nail salons taste like." I would expect a more polite, helpful response from a professional. not quite. We will not be returning.    [17 Jun 2007 12:52:00]
