Willow Creek Cafe in Mason
This is actually a nice place. It is located on the North side of the square in an historic building.

The furnishings are nice and they keep the place cool, even in the middle of summer.

Now about the food... Very good. There are also daily specials posted as you walk in the front door.

Service can be slow sometimes (Sat. evenings and on Sunday), but in this case it is a minor fault.

Ooooohhh.... and the dessert case full of pies. And fresh hand-dipped ice cream! (that would be my decadent side speaking)

The menu is pretty much all American cafe fare. They even offer Tex-Mex dishes but there are better places to go for that.

Down home goodness is what you'll find here.

My only gripe is that I personally think a lot of their menu is overpriced.    [29 Apr 2007 23:48:19]
