Good Value
I've found their luncheon specials to be tasty and a good value for the money. I eat there every time I go to Seguin.

This is where I found out that catfish doesn't have to taste like mud.

An unsolicited hot whole wheat role on a cutting board with real butter is a nice touch.    [19 Oct 2004 18:30:12]

Good Value, Good food, Nice people
Good specials, prime rib at night at a good price. The beer is cold and the staff is friendly. The prices are VERY reasonable.    [11 Sep 2005 18:08:39]

Awesome place, homemade dressings
Their homemade ranch dressing is great and the honey mustard dipping sauce is out of this world. The onion brick is a wonderful starter. The steaks are always tender and juicy and we have never been disappointed with any meal there. I love the chicken fried chicken but instead of gravy I get the honey mustard dipping sauce, it is pure heaven. Make sure you get the steamed squash if it is available that day, it is wonderful. We make the 45 minute drive each way there at least once a month and it is worth every mile we have to drive. The waitresses are always friendly and the service is very good. It is one of the first places we take out of town company to. The theme is rustic country so anything from shorts to casual dress is fine. Have even seen a few folks with their bathing suits on under their clothes sincce it is right across from the river. Enjoy!    [11 Aug 2007 15:06:45]
