The best Mexican Restaurant in the Dallas metropolitan and surrounding area. I have tried several dishes from this restaurant. The Juarez Plate; Las Casuelas; El Favorito, and Martinez Plate. All their foods are just the right touch of spice, not too hot, and not too mild. They cook their own fried tortilla chips which are delicious. They also offer either flour or corn tortillas as part of your meal. I've never been disappointed by either the food, or the service. []

Hot Sauce (Picante) Salsa This is the most fantastic salsa that I have ever had! I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and have had my share. This is the only jar of salsa I have ever finished in less than seven days!

Down Town El Fenix Restaurant Fair tex mex food, sub par staff, prefers that you sit down, order, eat & leave. Quite a disapointment after the hype & build up. Very frigid dining experience from an Dallas Icon. Try another establishment, that perhaps wants your patronage. 10-05-05 [07 Oct 2005 22:16:15]
