Gotta have a FatBurger and a Chocolate Pie
Brooks Barbecue "Home of the Fat Burger" is an awesome family-run restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner till 7 (closed Sundays) they offer a wide variety of great food, but for me it's always a Fat Burger, which is simply a Bog ol' Hambuger...about 8" across. Good stuff. No better way to top that off than with a piece of Mrs. B's Chocolate Pie. (In case you for some strange reason don't like chocolate, she also offers Lemon, Coconut, and Pecan.) Stop in today for a delicious burger...I've not known anyone yet (and I've brought in quite a few) that hasn't loved it. From downtown, head East on Texas until you run out...and run into Front Street. Brooks is on the Left.    [06 Aug 2003 22:51:10]
