The Cubby Hole is located in a small alcove in the back of the Independence Plaza building, at Big Spring St. and Illinois. They have a few tables set up to eat at but are probably best for take-out. Food is very good, freshly made, and reasonably priced.They serve breakfast and lunch only and feature standard diner/luncheonette dishes and burritos.
They accept cash and checks but I don't know if they take credit cards.    [11 Aug 2006 16:54:07]

Cubby Hole
A co-worker and I have decided that one day a week will be "Adventure Day" for lunch. We'll go to some place we've both never been before.

Today was The Cubby Hole Cafe at Big Spring & Illinois. We parked in the parking garage (because they're so cool) and went to the elevator to the 1st floor. The Cubby Hole is a small little restaurant located in the Basic Energy building. Their prices are cheap, and the food is great. Even though there are only 4 tables in the place, it seems everyone that comes in works in that building and just takes the food back to their offices.

So, I give the Cubby Hole Cafe a 7/10 fingers. Only because they don't have that much on the lunch menu and they're only open from 7:30am - 2:30pm.    [06 Nov 2006 13:32:25]
