Inspired from Southern Italian country recipes, the menu starts with appealing appetizers like the signature Pepperoni Bread, Bruschetta, Calamari and Italian Nachos. Entrees range from traditional favorites like homemade Lasagna and Pizzas, to featured items like Spicy Shrimp and Chicken, Italian Pot Roast, Baked Cheese Tortelloni, and Spicy Romano Chicken, all served with fresh baked bread.

If Chili's made an italian restaurant, it would look like this
Long on concept, short on taste. You've got the fake family portraits on the walls and the pseudo-family narrative in the menu. When this restaurant first opened (and the trainers were still in town) the food was pretty good and the service excellent. As this franchise started to go on its own weeks later, the kitchen and waitstaff seemed to lose its way. In the end, Johnny Carino's comes off as a knockoff of Carabba's - and Carabba's is superior. Eat here if you don't want to drive further down Highway 6.    [05 Nov 2005 07:10:41]
