Ugh Awful; I don't know what was worse the food or the service; church's has the ability to be good food; but they barely cooked the chicken tenders and the gravy was awful; it was gelly and nasty; also they didn't even give me a biscuit (that's the best part!) instead they gave me a common dinner roll that looked a little older than the food; the sad part was I was hungry so I had to eat it and I don't like confrontations; the girl was already being ugly with me because I changed my mind due to the fact that the menu wasn't readable and I realized I wanted the combo with the drink; she didn't even ask me if I wanted spicy or original; I had no idea that Church's offered spicy now. Also that place was so very scary. The girl looked like she was ready to beat up somebody and one girl with a big scary tattoo on her neck asked her if the ice was working; and the girl said no get a bag! The tattoo girl looked back at her like she was ready to do her physical harm for saying that. I was very uneasy the whole time. Then they had some guy back there that looked like he hadn't bathed in a while really scraggly scruffy long hair and between him and the tattooed neck girl, I almost lost my appetite. I was literally afraid to ask questions; they were so intimidating; I don't feel their behavior or appearances are appropriate in a place of food service; they all looked like they had just gotten out of prison; I remember they used to have a decent staff and decent food at that particular location, but it will definitely be a practical eternity before I step foot inside my local Church's. Drop the 'tude I've been going to this particular location for more than five years and I have yet to hear, "Thank you and come back". Generally, they have an attitude that precludes any smile or friendliness. I go there because it is close to where I live, but no more! Some courses for their employees on how to deal with the public might help. Also, a few pink slips wouldn't hurt. Finally, Church's needs a BIG dose of competition in this area!! Rude Rude Rude These are the unhappiest people in the world and they are sooooo rude. I called in an order and they hung up on me. When I called them back they let it ring about 20 times before they answered and said they do not take calll in orders. I told the girl couldn't you just have told me that when I just called instead of hanging up on me. Every visit to this location proves a nightmare with the way I am treated and witness they way they treat others. [06 Apr 2007 14:05:54]
