New Name...Same Great BBQ in Gruene
My wife and I happened into the Guadalupe Smoked Meat Company one day for lunch in Gruene because there was such a wait at the Grist Mill. The BBQ was awesome, not too smokey, cooked just right.

A few months ago we noticed that the Guadalupe Smoked Meat Company building had a new look to it. Janie's Table. We weren't sure what to expect, but we tried it. Let me tell you, it's the same great food, same good prices, whole new look.

The eclectic design of the place (and interesting new design on the menus) makes the place a much better fit to the eclectic ol' town of Gruene. I'd recommend them at the same level as I'd recommend the Grist Mill.    [26 Jan 2004 08:30:48]

Dieses Juwel am Guadalupe River sollte nicht laenger unser Geheimnis bleiben. Ein Pfund Brisket, a pint of potato salad und ein Eimer Longnecks zaehlen zu den Dingen, die ein Besucher Gruenes und seiner Umgebung auf keinen Fall verpassen sollte.

Great Place To Eat

Food That Wows You, Atmosphere That Comforts.
When eating at Janies table I am always given excellent service with southern charm. The food is rich with flavor and given careful attention. The BEST
I must say this place has it going on. From the BBQ Brisket and Ribs, Sweet Potato Fries to the Blackberry Cobbler. You just have to go and check it out. They are on the ball.    [17 Feb 2006 15:38:15]
