Try the Mexican Food Also
Diner food. Not bad but not something you want to eat every day. Good, friendly service unless one of the twins is in a bad mood. It is a plain, unoffensive place. There are some authentic pics on the walls of local school sports teams and a framed bank robbery article. Nice touch. The beer is cold. They've had at least one runin with the health inspector and received 25 demerits but that probably is not so bad for the area. Also, sometimes they often wipe off tables with sour dishcloths. The place has an overall tidy, clean look however. Good value for the dollar if you are not too particular about hygine.    [18 Nov 2004 20:36:26]

An Unlikely Find
The menu isn't large but everything on it is competent. Service is good. At lunch they'll get you in and out quickly. Dinner is a bit more relaxed.

You never go away hungry.

The unlikely part is that Edgar and Gladys is located in a sparsely populated area on a lightly traveled highway. But people come for miles around.    [06 Jan 2005 16:15:50]

Worth the trip
I go out of the way to eat at Edger & Glady's. The food is great, the service is friendly. I have taken groups as large as 40 and have still been treated like individuals.
Gotta try the Chicken Fried Steak. The Mexican food is suprisingly good for a 'non-Mexican' restaurant.    [18 May 2006 13:53:53]
