REAL ITALIAN FOOD & NYC Style Pizza & Calzones We Love Tony's in North Richland Hills. We are willing to drive there from Arlington, Eastside & Northside Fort Worth just to enjoy their food. Tonight, I had Chicken Picatta,in a wonderful white wine & lemon butter sauce. It reminds me of trips to Little Italy. My husband had Chicken Caccaiatore with lots of mushrooms & sweet peppers, that was one of his first choice meals there. My mother in law had Chicken Parmiagiana, again delightful. Their bread is homemade & should be a prize winner also. All of this, plus dinner salad with the BYOB wine we brought from home made a great meal. We shared the homemade Tiramisu for dessert. Total bill was less than $26.00 for three (3) adults.
Yes, Tony's is worth the drive from Fort Worth to North Richland Hills. We vistit Tony's often.
I would say Tony's are equal to the New York, New Jersey Italian Cafes. They are in the top 10 in the USA in my book. Great place to eat. [09 Dec 2002 21:47:05]

Pizza Just Like Jersey Hey youse guys, the pizza at Tony's is unbelieveable! Sure, you could go to any of the nearby chains on Rufe Snow and get your typical cookie cutter pie, but not at Tony's. Fahgettaboutit! The pizza here reminded me of the pies I had when I was growin' up in New Jersey (pronounced Nu Joy-zee). Jeez, they even have pizza by the slice. I remember when my family first moved to Texas back in the seventies, people thought I was nuts when I asked for a slice of pizza ... go figure. Everything was Pizza Inn back then and Pizza Hut. Hey Paisano, ‘dat ain’t real pizza. If you want a taste of New York and the East Coast, go to Tony’s Pizza and Pasta and order yourself a primo pie. The flavor is excellent and the prices beat the chains in terms of size and quality of ingredients. Tony’s Pizza is my new place for pizza pie. [20 Feb 2006 18:22:31]
