Dismal
Am still looking for decent catfish in Midland/Odessa area - Big Daddy's is dismal, at best. Fried shrimp not much better. If you have had good catfish, pass this place by - you'll only be disappointed.    [16 Apr 2006 16:35:47]

Party food was great
My uncle's 80th birthday party was a big success. I think we ordered just about every option on the menu and everyone was pleased with the food and the service. Big Daddy's is Great!
My husband considers himself an authority on fried catfish and he thinks Big Daddy's is the best in the Midland/Odessa area. In fact, it's the only place he patronizes. I'm a vegetarian and I like the potato salad and cole slaw so we're both happy.    [15 Jan 2008 22:19:50]

This place WAS good. It seems like the owner has definitely let the place go. The fans and decorations are nasty with months and months of dust, and the fruit flys are still not being taken care of. Some plates do come out sloppy. This place is a mess now. There is no pride at Big Daddy's anymore. I think it is safe to say it will not be open much longer.    [19 Feb 2008 16:17:12]
