Best Mexican Food......... I have been eating here since I was born and I can honestly say they have the best food. The hot sauce, guacamole, and cheese dip is matched nowhere. Easily the best in Palestine, and everywhere else! [28 Jan 2002 15:05:01]

Perfection. I haven't eaten there much since the Harry Thompson heyday of the nineteen-eighties, but man. It was _the_ eating establishment to hit if you were in Palestine, TX.
Try the Mexican food! [20 Aug 2003 09:35:45]

Best Tex-Mex north of San Antonio I've been eating there for about 30 years. I now live in the Dallas area, but make the trip (several hours) 3 or 4 times a year, and always have friends who want to come along. The food is good, the people are nice, and the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Hint: Order the small tea, it's cheaper than the large tea, and they have free refills ... makes no sense at all. The best you'll ever eat I've been eating there for 27 years now. I moved from Palestine 11 years ago but still make the 6 hour drive about 3 or 4 times a year and never miss eating there while i'm in town. [13 Jan 2004 00:01:40]

Addicted for 25 Years I have been eating at Little Mexico since conception, and I am honestly addicted. I now live in Northern Idaho and crave the hot sauce and Special Nachos and cheese dip daily. My family still goes once a week and will until the day they die. Yum, Yum. There's nothing like it anywhere else. [02 Apr 2004 11:51:16]

I have eaten at Little Mexico for all of my 24 years. Even though I now live in College Station, I make the 2 hour drive at least once a month to eat here! There is no Tex-Mex restaurant like it in the country! [12 May 2004 17:38:09]

What? No alcohol served? No smoking? Been going to Little Mexico since I can remember and back then, it didn't matter if you could drink or smoke. But this is the 21st century people! It takes away from the atmosphere & mood I think, you just expect to have a margarita with your Mexican food these days. Refried beans are & always have been DRY. [06 Feb 2005 14:32:10]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: Rice is greasy & delicious!

I Love It I grew up in Frankston Tx, then joined the Military. Every time I go home I eat there as often as I can. I love the enchiladas and parlines. Which I could get the recipes! [17 Jun 2005 21:29:00]

the perfect FAMILY restaurant The best Mexican food on the planet. No need to worry about getting choked by cigarette smoke, or by some genius that's had one too many. The food here is hot and served with the same recipe from the time it opened in the late 60's. Little Mexico has devoted eaters that you will see on a regular basis, week after week. Many folks (including myself) have been eating here for over 30 years. [14 Mar 2006 11:46:32]

Don't fill up on the chips and hot sauce! My wife has been eating here all her life. She introduced me to it when we were dating. We love this place. We eat here when we are in Palestine more often than any other restaurant. In fact, we plan on going there tonight.
I like that there is no smoking or drinking. The host and wait-staff is very friendly. The host always remembers us and our son and is very friendly. The waiting room is large. The only thing i don't like about Little Mexico is this: the place is so popular, sometimes they simply need to have a bigger dining room so you don't have to wait.
the purple bar on the left says they accept cash, but they also accept Visa and Mastercard. [04 Apr 2006 14:25:23]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: my wife: sour cream cheese enchiladas and mine: the chicken quesadilla sola (no pico) with a souffle of guacamole
