Grew up eatin coneys

56 years eating and love them still
Dad first took me there when it was across the street on the South Side. I was about 4 years old. Fell in love with the food and the Gikas'. Have to go back for an infusion. No one else knows how to do it RIGHT!    [06 Feb 2006 13:37:29]

Better Now
Than was when the Gikas Bros. had it. The Coneys are pretty good most days, the pies are still delicious, but the new owners and crew have really cleaned the place up. Before the cafe changed hands, I never wanted to go back to the nasty bathroom, but now I'd eat my meal in there.

I wish the coney was in Kansas City, I really miss eating there even though I have never lived in Pampa. I'll miss the Gikas and all their quirks, I have taken my kids as teenagers there and they share my love for the greatest dog in the country!    [19 Jan 2007 23:48:26]
