Best Catfish in Texas
Due to sick child at home we have not been able to try the dining room. All that we have tried is the take-out service and it is great, there are large servings and always hot. The people are friendly and it never takes more than a few minutes to get your food. I used to go to Mississippi to get this good of catfish. Now I don't have as far to drive. Catfish

BEST CATFISH AROUND
We love Sudies because they have the best catfish ever! It's always so fresh and good, along with their home-made tartar sauce that's also out of this world! Great coleslaw, beans, fries, and especially hushpuppies. Great place to take visiting relatives. Very great atmosphere and service! They also have the best fried crawfish we have ever had! Crispy catfish every time
It is all good - the catfish is always cooked to perfection, shrimp are also good, as is the broiled fish. This is one of my favorite places to go for fried food! The breading is light and crispy - cornmeal on the catfish and I am not sure what the combination is on the shrinp - it is good though. There is a new location    [18 Nov 2003 11:58:42]

Fries, hush puppies and a side of catfish!
I finally got to eat at Sudies, since they built one (I-45N) near my office. The catfish was excellent. Problem was...not enough of it. Catfish is a fairly inexpensive fish, and portions are usually large at every catfish house I've ever dined at. However, at Sudies I received two small, thin filets, which were dwarfed by the copious quantities of hush puppies and fries. Should have been the other way around. I was disappointed. Perhaps they should change the name to Sudies Guppy House. I probably will not go back.    [18 Feb 2004 13:06:21]
