Refused to Serve my Daughter
Mely's refused service to my teenage daughter and friend. When my husband inquired as to why they were refused service. He was told that teenagers eat too many chips and are too loud! Apparently they have forgotten about the party of 9 who order margaritas non-stop. I guess they aren't disruptive enough since they're paying $5 a drink!    [20 Feb 2004 21:57:27]

Mely's is Mely's
Mely's has a new location at Dixie Farm Road and 518 in Pearland. They also have another on 518 in Silverlake. I ate a t the one on Dixie Farm and It is a nice looking place but the food was as bad as I have ever had anywhere. The nackos had watery cheese poured on them and very little meat (about 2 tablespoons) and plenty of chips. $5.75 for the fajita nachos and I would much prefer to have taco bell. $30.00 lunch for three and never again, will I go there. The girl taking the orders was rude and food just tasted bad. I took the nachos back to her when we were leaving and told her they were bad and she informed me that this was not the restruant Mely's it was Mely's, whatever that means.    [16 Feb 2006 14:02:53]

The Best Restaurant Ever!!!!!!
Mely's is a great restaurant all around. Their chips and dip are excellent. I bet you can't have just one. The nacho cheese is so cheesy...mmm. Is it lunch time yet? Their tortillas are so fresh and taste so wonderful. It seems to be very authentic Mexican food.    [07 Dec 2006 15:08:54]
