Migas To my taste--the best Migas to be found in central Texas. Cheesey, nicely peppered, good crunchy tortillas in the mix. Use the provided (made fresh at the open kitchen) tortillas for wrapping, and enjoy the moment! It's hard to think of more perfect migas ranchero. My only regret is that they stop serving them at 11am. [29 Oct 2001 20:09:49]

best menudo on the north side My husband and I moved from South Austin & are used to great small restaurants & when we found El Rincon we discovered Pflugerville had a secret. They have some of the best home cooked food period but menudo with just the right kick so you still enjoy the flavor of the "caldo" and hominy. Yum... [01 Feb 2003 19:04:34]

The Best in Austin My wife and I found this little Gem in 1998, when we moved into Springbrook Meadows. We loved this place, everything from the chips and salsa, the rice and beans, and everything in between is absolutely great! Its a homey little place and the small "hole in the walls" are always the best! We have since (in late 2001) moved out of Texas to NJ and although they have adequate Mexican to tide our craving, we miss El Rincon and will visit everytime we are back in the area! My Wife and I love to get up early in Saturday mornings and go to breakfast to a quiet places, read the newspaper and make some plans for the rest of the weekend with a hot cup of coffee. Two 3 years ago we found the perfect place, "El Rincon" in Downtown Pflugerville. Lots of restaurants claim to have the best Menudo, but NOT until you try Menudo from "El Rincon". Keep Driving We are pretty new to the Pflugerville area, but I'm a Texan and feel like I know good Mexican fare, but I'd say keep driving past El Rincon. Chips aren't too good and is says they charge extra for the 2nd basket! What?! Cokes from the can, queso that seems like velveeta with a slice of jalapeno pepper in it, and a warm plate but less warm food. Couldn't put my finger on one thing that was at a minimum, that's above average. There's too many great Mexican places in Austin to stop here. [04 Jun 2005 20:59:12]
