Great place for friends and/or family!! Great cafe for eat in or carry out Mexican food. Very friendly and personal touch. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Tamales, this is the only place to get them. [06 Dec 2001 22:38:32]

Best Mexican food in Dallas The best home town Mexican food in the Dallas area. The chips and salsa are fresh with a great flavor, the tortillas are fresh, and the Carne Guisada is awesome. [31 Jan 2002 09:18:57]

Great food, friendly place, good price Aparicio's is expanding - besides the new place in McKinney, the original in Plano is being replaced by a new facility right next door. We will miss the funky old converted house - great ambiance and elbow-rubbing... [04 Feb 2003 13:56:08]

Awesome mexican food! This place has incredible chips and salsa. The queso, guacamole, and flour tortillas are also fresh and excellent. My boyfriend loves the chicken and cheese taquitos! Nothing to complain about ! Better than chain Mexican food places all day long! [29 Mar 2003 17:20:35]

Authentic Mexican food that you can pronounce This is my Ace in the Hole. The food is outstanding and the service is great. This is the best Mexican food for the money in North Texas. I hope it never changes so it doesn't get too crowded. It's easy to get seated on a Friday night only because it has a big lunch crowd. [30 Sep 2003 19:08:35]

delicious Great food, good service, funky kareoke on Friday nights. It can be a bit loud so if you are looking for conversation or have a headache, this isn't the place. [15 Jan 2006 08:43:06]

The real thing Aparicio's has some of the best Mexican food in the area. They've got things on the menu I haven't seen north of San Antonio or Austin, and their new building is much larger and nicer. Haven't had a bad, or even so-so, meal there yet - and I eat there about once a week. Highly recommended! [24 Apr 2006 11:48:32]

Over Microwaved Enchiladas I should have known when the plate was extremely hot how overcooked the chicken enchilada on the edge of the plate was going to be. The spinach one wasn't bad, but they do need to not overcook something so much. [01 Sep 2006 10:09:30]
