Weinerschnitzel in Plano!
Although a bit loud and raucous by American standards, this place is what you would expect if you've been to Germany. Or even if you haven't, it's what you would expect! The food is traditional and the portions are ample; the beers are outstanding and the service is prompt considering the volume they handle. It's a noisy, fun, and filling taste of Germany in Plano, and we should be glad they're here. It satisfies the Central European in many of us, and fulfills the expectations of the rest of us. Good fun, good fun
The Grill has attempted and succeeded in creating an atmosphere where the food is good, the ambiance is friendly, and the mood is fun. It is as close to a combination of dignified dining and good bier garten fun that one can find in the US outside of Milwaukee.    [06 Nov 2003 13:37:48]
