Cafe De France Wonderful experiance every time, they serve the best breakfast in town any time of day at very reasonable prices. Dont think this is just a breakfast place because the evening menu is exceptional. Oh and lets not forget the desserts :) [04 Nov 2004 15:24:55]

A very happy customer
Delicious! We have dined here many times, food tastes freshly cooked from scratch and always arrives hot. Not a huge menu but everything is very good. Especially the champagne chicken and french onion soup. Great value. [20 Jan 2005 16:29:22]

Worst restaurant I have ever been to My in-laws were in town and we decided to take them Cafe de France for brunch since we saw good reviews. Apparently it was a WRONG decision.
We waited for almost two hours and NEVER got our orders served. The only things we got were coffee (btw, no refills), bread (we had to ask to get this since we were starving after waiting for so long), and a French onion soup for myself. Someone mentioned the soup was good but it was just chicken broth plus excessive salt. Our waiter lost our ticket and he told us after we waited for more than an hour. He promised our orders would be ready soon so we trusted him and kept waiting. Another 30 mins passed by and we did not see any food. A waitress came by and told us the food would be ready in 10 mins if we still needed them. SURE, we waited for so long and all we wanted was food. Well the food never came. We never got any explanation from the servers or manager. Finally we left and got some burgers from Fuddruckers next door. It was the worst restaurant we have ever been to. Not to mention it also ruined our quality time with my in-laws since they live overseas. [27 Apr 2006 11:15:15]

Worst Place to Eat!!!!! By far, the worst restaurant I have EVER been to!!!! (BTW, I'm 29) On 4/20/08, my boyfriend and I went to eat breakfast at Cafe de france (In Plano, TX), www.cafedefrancerestaurant.com, and after we were seated, we ordered drinks and our food then waited almost 15 minutes for our drinks. I joked the first time about getting some water before my cappuccino, and then my boyfriend had to ask again. After drinking my first glass of water, they finally brought the cappuccino, maybe they had to fly in some coffee beans? After sitting for nearly an hour and watching other customers sit, eat, and leave - we asked the hostess why it was taking so long. She said they were just slow that day and she would check. I just wanted my western omlette, or maybe some bread, anything! She came back to say it would be 5 more minutes. After about 8 minutes, we decided to go to TJI Fridays for lunch since it was already lunch time (We got there at 10:00am and left at 11:45am). We told the manager and he said he would check on it and get our bill. The waitress returned, gave us a bill for our drinks and said sorry - we left. The manager NEVER came to apologize, we never got our food, AND they didn't flinch when we paid for the bill. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! [21 Apr 2008 13:53:04]

Dry Eggs Just had brunch. 80's looking decor, friendly but inexperienced waiter (looked at the menu so he would know if my entree came with sides).
Started with the lobster bisque. It arrived slopped on the plate and the side of the French onion bowl. It was good.
My entree was the ham and cheese omlette, my friend got the Croque Madame. Our eggs were VERY dry (neither one of us finished). The croissants seemed microwaved. Left it half finished and went to La Madeleine down the street. Sorry, I can't recommend it. [10 May 2008 20:49:00]
