GREAT FOOD!! The atmosphere is great but the food is even better! Loved it! You've got to try everything. Crab legs were my favorite! [18 Jun 2002 17:11:13]

A Port If you like great Cajun food, fantastic service, a fun atmoshpere, and live music, you will absolutely love the Crazy Cajun!
My family vacations in Port Aransas every year and this is the first place we stop. Not the pier, not the wharf, not the beautiful beaches. Our first stop is always the Crazy Cajun. There's nothing like having a big pan of corn, potatoes, and suasages (or a great variety of seafood, if you prefer) dumped on your table. Just dig right in! Their gumbo, dirty rice, Jambayla, and red beans and rice are all fabulous.
We love it. You will, too. [06 Jul 2002 14:57:08]

Lived Up to Their Reputation! When my friends found out we were going to Port Aransas, they said "you've got to go to The Crazy Cajun!" They were right. We absolutely loved the place! It's an experience in itself. The food was absolutely fantastic. The place is really a hoot. It was on a Saturday night and they had live music, like I haven't seen before. This was the highlight of our visit to Port Aransas. We ate there three times in one week! [18 Nov 2002 14:58:56]

One Fishball! My husband and my daughter and her boyfriend ate at the Crazy Cajun on Saturday night, January 18, 2003. We all had the Hungry Cajun, got filthy greasy, and had the time of our lives.
The guy who almost plays the tuba sang One Fishball and it was hilarious. We sang it all the way home! [21 Jan 2003 12:57:28]

VERY DISAPOINTING The service was lousy, the staff rude and the food, while good, was not worth the hour and a half wait (or the complaint to the manager)to get it. I will never go there again. [09 Jun 2003 13:22:58]

Awesome I eat at the Crazy Cajun every time I go to Port A. If you like good times with friends, family, or just strangers, then you will love the Cary Cajun. [27 Aug 2003 00:21:59]

excellent We always get the mix of corn, potatoes, sausage, shrimp, crab legs and crawfish dumped on our table--family style. We love it. We were a little disappointed with the amount the last time we were there, but will keep going back for the great flavor... [25 Dec 2003 08:36:17]

Friday & Saturday Night Music The Cajun is one of the best family restaurants in Port A. The food is simple and fun to eat; you even get a little wooden hammer with the meal. Eveything is served on butcher paper and in bowls. The music they have on Fridays and Saturdays is great. Kit Gutherz is an exceptional self-taught, indiginous musician playing everything from blues to cajun to country to the almost bawdy to "Teddybear's Picnic" If you come on weekends you may want to call in advance since they are so popular.
