Best Mexican food - period.
Caro's restaurant has been a part of our family for decades. It is a must when visiting Rio Grande City. The atmosphere hasn't changed in 30 years, and thats what makes it charming. The food is incredible. I could go on and on....    [26 Jun 2003 10:47:22]

World's Best Mexican Food, by far!
I have known about Caro's for around 35 years. Being a nut for Mexican food, I always try a town's Mexican food - from Canada to the U.S./Mexican border, and from the east coast to the west. At the best places, I always end up saying, "This was good, but it's not Caro's!" OK, maybe they shouldn't have 5 stars for service and ambience, but they deserve WAY more than 5 stars for the food!    [14 Sep 2004 22:04:21]

The best.
Ate there last night, simply magnificient. The food was truly the best Mexican food that I have ever tasted. I am going back tonight. I will refrain from commenting on the service because it is one of a kind, it can't be compared to fancy places.
