Best Burger and Beer
I love the food. It's traditional pub food...you know burgers, hot wings(i mean HOT wings), chicken strips. good simply made food that goes well with....what else BEER!!! After all the name is The Tap Room!! Try one of the burgers...either made to order or choose from the menu....you even get to pick the size of meat!! Think you can down a "pounder"? Oh and you say you love hot wings, buffalo wings, chicken wings...well The Tap Room has it and damn can they get hot(if you want them to). served by friendly, eye-catching waitstaff who'll be at your beck-and-call if needed. the ambiance during the day is very laid back 21-35yr old crowd. during the day you'll find some form of sports located on one of the many televisions mounted on the wall. along with countless momentos and souvenirs, even a giant moose head(go figure!)...really...just ask how they got it through the door. it's quite a story. overall...The Tap Room....is an excellent venue to eat, drink, and of course be merry. i recommend it to any one of my friends as a must visit if you're ever in San Marcos, TX    [16 Aug 2003 01:36:28]

The Tap Room
It really is a great,laid-back ambience; 40+ beers on tap, great food:loved the fish and chips, the ribs and burgers were great too. Prompt, friendly service. We will definitely go back. Wasn't too expensive either.    [18 Jun 2007 21:57:37]
