My experience My experience with this resturant is not plesant. the restaurant is family runned, and badly at that. No one is in charge. the kids are the waitstaff and dont think they need to act like their job matters. [22 Jun 2005 20:00:42]

my experience,I have no clue what the other people experienced. I have been going to La Pasadita for 20yrs. I have never had any problems with the service. It has been family owned, one owner. Its waitstaff is fast and great!! True they do get lots of new people. So my understanding when you hire new people they start as bad servers then they don't turn out so bad. [13 Dec 2006 10:21:02]

My opinion based on experience. First off, the food is excellent. The spice on the variety of foods is just right for my taste. It keeps me going anytime I get to pass by there. On my way to Austin I have to stop and have me some nachos compuestos for an appetizer and the plate is so well filled that I take a to-go box. The puffy tacos are nothing like anywhere else. This restaurant is true to puffy like in the name. The vegetables and fruits seem to be hand-picked by the owner because they are always fresh. The odor of the fajita plate makes me want to order it as it is taken to a table with the steam following it. How a dash of water on the plate gives it a splash that makes you want to follow it. The salsa and the chips are perfect. There is no other salsa like it. The restaurant even named a platter after a customer that had his plate especially done for him every time he went in, that they named a platter after him! That should tell you how devoted they are to their customers. A couple of years ago I saw Tommy Lee Jones in there having the simplest plate...cheese enchiladas with another male friend (I guess). I think they were there on account of horse races; it's nearby. I must admit the restaurant could be more spacious, but they added an enclosed patio and perfect for anyone seeking a great Mexican plate. You go guys! My hats off to the cooks!!!
