I've spent many summers in S. Padre and this is one of the finest sea food experience's I've encountered...

Best restaurant on South Padre Island
This is the best dining experience on S.P.I. You will not find a better place to enjoy great food and service, with a very relaxing atmosphere. You must try the stuffed jalepenos, they are awesome.    [26 Jun 2003 04:23:18]

Wonderful
My family and I went to South Parde Island for a little vacation. Our first night there we ate at BlackBeards
It was great! Great atmosphere-lights, trees, and decor. It really fit the Island. The food was enjoyable and the Margeritas were yummy!    [17 Aug 2004 16:22:18]

Good
I grew up on South Padre, and remember when Blackbeards was nothing but basically a patio that served food. Used to be one of the main places locals went, and word of mouth made this a popular tourist eatery. But locals still go just as much. Every time I go back to the island I try to go here, the food is always excellent (they used to have the best onio n rings, and a great Po Boy) and the menu i always improving. Haven't been in about 5 years, so I can't reccommend any current dishes.    [07 Jun 2005 17:48:47]
