Very Good, Very Pricey! Extraordinary Atmosphere
VERY pricey. We live right down the street and have only eaten here 3 times. It's really good, though. Great food, great atmosphere if you eat outside. If you eat inside, though, the floor vibrates for some reason. Every time we have started to sit indoors we have moved outdoors because of that! They also serve Margaritas but I haven't had one here. I think they are like $4 or more. The wait staff is young (like high school and college) and very, very courteous.    [05 Aug 2006 12:57:16]

Best food on the lake
The Lakehouse has by far the best food on Lake Travis. Everything I have tried has been great. Great deck under huge oak trees with a view of the lake.    [03 Sep 2006 23:23:33]

I take my company there
I live in Briarcliff where this is at. I always take my out of town guests to this place. The meal and drink prices are about what you'd expect to pay at TGIFridays or Applebee's but the food and service is way better.

Just Say No
I have been many times in the past and the food has been pretty good, though the portions are small and it is overpriced for what you get. While it may be waterfront and it has a nice deck..there is really nothing much to look at except the marina. Recently, one of the chefs left and the quality has gone DOWN HILL. I was so disappointed the last few times Ive been, Im not going back again. I could get a better salad at Wendy's. They have alot of nerve charging what they charge and give a completely subpar meal. Love this place
My husband and family love great food and we are so fortunate to have this great establishment in our area. The food is always exciting and delicious. The staff is super. Wonderful place to sit outside and enjoy beautiful Lake Travis and great food. We only wished they were open all week. You must try the unbelievable desserts.    [15 Apr 2008 15:27:51]
