Grease Pit
The only item I have ever had there over the years that was any good is their biscuits in the morning, but you have to get there no later then 5:30 AM to get any of those.    [22 Feb 2001 18:10:39]

Ummmmm Good
This place might be old but the food is the best in town. The food can be greasy sometimes but its always good. I have lived here for 20 years and ate there all my life. I even find myself craving it. Its also the only place in town with enough sense to be open 24 hours a day!    [27 Jun 2001 16:10:08]

Ummm Ummm Good
Everyone knows about Howell's. It's the best place in town to eat. I'll admit that it can be a little greasy but I like it and most other people do also. Another good thing about it is the time that it is open, that would be 24HRs. Some stuff could be touched up.    [06 Jul 2001 12:10:58]

Good Roadhouse Breakfast
The cornerstone of eateries in Springtown is Howell's Cafe. They are open 24/7 and the best time to eat there is between 4am-6am for breakfast. Food is cooked to order and hasn't let us down yet. My favorite is the short stack; my husband likes the full breakfast experience of eggs, toast, hash browns, and ham.    [18 Jul 2001 13:36:29]

Only One That's 24 Hours
The food at Howell's is usually good.

The gravy can be flour tasting and too thick, but the pan fry is really good otherwise. I have to admit the food is greasy. The ranch is out of this world great! The chef salad is wonderful.

The lunch specials are good but they run out fast.    [06 Oct 2002 15:24:45]

The Food Is Good
I would recommend anyone to eat Howell's. The best time to eat is around dinner time. Their hamburgers are great, as are their chicken fried steak and Mexican dinners. I would not recommend getting the spaghetti as they do it very different than Italian diners. But overall the food is very good. I have enjoyed it every time. I give it 2 thumbs up.    [15 Nov 2004 08:53:29]
