Great Tex Mex Stop
After riding horses (this is Terrell), my friends and I stop at this charming restaurant to eat. The walls are covered in Mexican wall art, and a plaza fountain sits in the middle of the building. This place has the best quesadillas I've ever had. It's a charming stop full of community spirit and wonderful service. Best Mexican Food

Not wonderful
After waiting 45 min. I finally had my drink order taken... 1/2 an hour later was asked how was the food..... WHAT food?!?!?! NO ONE had come to take our order!! So they took our order.... yet anther 1/2 an hour passes and we stop a waiter... "Where is out food?" Oh it's coming right out.... STONE cold and wrong to boot!!! Before they moved they were wonderful.... Now I suggest going to ANY other Mexican restraunt...    [18 Aug 2005 20:14:14]

Great Tex-Mex Restaurant
One indication of a good restaurant is a packed parking lot and it was full at Carmona's. The wait staff was courteous and very prompt with our dining needs. The steak fajita chimichanga is the best I have ever eaten. The portions are generous and not pricey. The restaurant was a bit noisy but you have to expect that when you have so many people eating good food. I would definitely eat there again!    [03 Oct 2005 13:39:15]

This is the perfect place to stop while travelling or to meet with friends. We saw the packed parking lot and thought we'd be waiting for half an hour. Not so! We were seated immediately, and given a reasonable amount of time to choose our meals. Once we ordered, it took maybe 10 minutes to arrive, piping hot and fresh from the kitchen. We would have stayed longer, but we were on a schedule. In total, we were in and out in under 30 minutes. In a typical Mexican restaurant that is unheard of! This restaurant is huge. The dining area alone is impressive, and then for the volume of people there, and the speed with which our meal arrived, the kitchen must be massive to have accomodated everyone so efficiently. The wait staff is also incredible. They took our orders without needing to write down anything, and then not only got our meals to us correctly, but also remembered all our goofy quirks. I was very impressed. The food was great. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and authentically decorated with murels and tiles.

While it may not be the very best Mexican food I have ever tasted, it certainly ranks up there with the best. I will defintely recommend Carmona's to my friends and family.    [30 Oct 2006 00:18:05]

Hey, I've been here many times & have always walked out happy. I love Carmona's.The food & service has never been bad. Their salsa kicks serious ass, it's addictive trust me.
