Not a bad place to eat. The food was fair and the service was friendly.I thought the food could have been hotter. [30 Dec 2001 11:46:54]

I love this place! This was just the greatest old fashioned eating I have experienced in a long time. Incredibly delicious food. I will drive an hour out of my way to eat there when traveling through Texas! Thank you! [18 Nov 2002 18:07:10]

Good eats! I thought the food was great. The fried chicken and green beans were very good. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I'll definitely go back when I hit the Texas/Arkansas border. I'm happy to see an old-fashioned cafeteria survive! [10 Feb 2003 18:34:45]

The peach pie was to die for. I loved the fried green tomatoes too. I do them at home sometimes but had never seen them on a cafeteria line in Oklahoma. The place was kind of pricey though. [18 Aug 2005 20:42:44]

I always stop! We time our trips to be sure we are in Texarkana at meal time. The chicken and dumplings and the liver & onion are to die for. And I have dreams about the peach pie!! [30 May 2007 10:58:51]
