My husband and I ate at the Tomball Luby's today, January 8. We selected the special "Fried catfish and fries". We have to say that this was the worst dish we have ever eaten. The breading on the catfish was so thick and hard and actually pulled off the fish easily in places. It tasted as if it had been frozen with the breading on it etc. Just terrible!    [08 Feb 2003 18:22:38]

Give me the old Luby's back.The food now is the pits. We don't want our hot food cold. cold food that seems to be all you can get there any more.I would not call that stuff home cooking. Bring back the Tea lady. She was slow but she got to you.    [15 Mar 2005 15:57:43]

This is the only Luby's I've eaten at where you are "assigned" a waitress. I think the owner has decided to let the customer pick up the tab for salaries because now you have to tip your assigned waitress. There is no more tea lady/gentleman circulating around. The food seems to generally be a grade lower than other Luby's.    [14 Jun 2006 12:40:53]
