What a Mess!
Golden Corral used to be a great place to eat for a great price.

Had dinner with a friend last night at Golden Corral and let me tell you, the place was a mess! No edible food on the buffet. Food all over the floors. There were no dinner rolls cooked. Every single item on the buffet was crusted over and/or dried up. I ask the manager if and when they may be getting some food out. He told the boy behind the bar to put some food out and the boy told the manager there was food on the bar and the manager said, no, there is no food on the bar, and the employee said yes there is ... anyway this went on between the two of them for a while.

I can not tell you how upset I am with this place. The management needs to focus on the basics of running a buffet and restaurant.

The staff was basically reflecting the same non-focused attitude of the management. Very poor service. When we came in we stood at the drink station for several minutes while we waited for the drink girl to finish telling a story about her date the night before. I might also mention that at no time did anyone say the words hello, how can I help, how are you and/or thank you come back.    [20 Nov 2001 00:30:57]
