Couldnt believe it
I have lived in the Waxahachie area for years and had heard Oma's Jiffy Burger was a long time staple. I tried it but am not sure why its still in business. The girl behind the counter recommended the double burger with cheese, saying that was the most popular item. When I got mine I opened it to put pepper on it and was shocked. Not only was the burger patty about the size of a dollar coin, but it was only about as thick as one also. I didnt see the 2nd patty & assumed that I had gotten the wrong order. When I took it back to the counter the girl pointed out to me that my 2nd patty was UNDER the first one....I lifted it, and sure enough - there was a 2nd patty, about the size of a quarter... The food tasted fine, and the price was about the same as any other fast food burger, but there sure wasnt anything to it... and I haven't bothered to go back.    [27 Dec 2004 23:17:49]
