Great Food!
The Blue Onion offers a variety of homemade dishes. There is a soup of the day, each day a different soup that is put on to simmer at 8:00 each morning. A favorite is the chicken and sausage gumbo!
The salads are huge! There is a grilled shrimp and feta cheese salad that is wonderful. The grilled chicken salad is a favorite.
And then there's the pizza. A thin crispy crust that is cooked on pizza stones. The sauce is homemade with oven roasted tomatoes and just the right amount of kick.
The sandwiches are great. You can either get a po-boy, served on French bread, or a wrap served on grilled flat bread. Side dishes are all homemade and authentic. The black bean salade is wonderful.

Food Is Okay
