Worth the Stop!
Last year my family was in South Texas for the holidays. On our traditional trip to Progresso, we stopped at Fat Daddy's in Weslaco. It was well worth the stop. Fat Daddy's has a very relaxed atmosphere and good food. I don't remember the name on the menu, but I had a barbeque sandwich and fried jalapeno peppers. The peppers were shredded and deep fried like onion rings. They were crisp and plentiful.

Fat Daddys has to be the best place to go for bbq.Their porkloin sandwiches and ribs are to die for and believe me,we have traveled all over the United States and none have come close to Fat Daddys.Their sandwiches are so huge and the prices are right.The place is homey,clean and the employees are right down home friendsy.Can't beat it and we're always anxious to go back.
