awesome stuff!
I love it all! BBQ baked potatoes, chopped beef sandwiches, the chicken, the sausage! The sides are great too! I especially love the bacon onion potatoes and the green beans!
The sauce is great too, it's the only kind I will eat now! (Although, their BBQ is great even without the sauce.)
Don't forget to try the homemade pecan pie and the pralines!!

Kids love the place too. I know when I was young I was always amazed by the tree growing through the ceiling!

The people are great, the service is great, the food is even better.

Misplaced Texan
You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take Texas out of the girl. I have lived in Mississippi for the past 12 years and everytime I go home to El Campo, I HAVE to stop at Hinze's in Wharton. They are the best. I will be traveling back there for my 36 year class reunion at the end of September and my mouth is already watering. I am anxious to try their breakfast too.
