BAR L GONE DOWN HILL
The bar L drive inn has gone down hill since Alma Price the manager left. The place is beyond help. I have also seen roaches in the place. I will not be going back. Very bad service and rude waitresses. Food was also cold when it was served.    [23 Jan 2002 03:04:32]

Not as good, but ok
It may not be quite as good as the old days, but I had a craving for their Umphrey (or Humphrey--they spell it both ways) Burger on Texas toast. It wasn't as juicy and dripping in sauce as the old ones, but it was still good
and so were the fries. Where else can you go get ribs and a red draw delivered right to your car by the bellhops?
The waitress was very friendly. I'm glad they were able to keep this Wichita Falls legend open for a new generation.    [21 May 2007 19:03:17]
