Great coffee shop
I LOVE this coffee shop and hope Starbucks never comes to Wylie. I know so many people who drive out of their way to enjoy this shop on Ballard Street. While you are waiting for your coffee drink, browse the selection of gifts and antiques.    [13 Sep 2004 09:58:47]

better than Starbucks
I visit the Shoemaker in Plano. It is way better than Starbucks. They have board games, books, good snacks and the ambiance is hard to beat. It's kinda dark, quiet and cozy. The staff is very friendly and it never feels snooty.    [16 Jan 2007 09:06:51]

There's no place like Shoemaker and Hardt
Starbucks cannot hold a candle to Shoemaker. Shoemaker uses higher quality espresso. Shoemaker also uses more flavoring than Starbucks in their flavored lattes and cappuccinos. If you order a particular flavor you will taste it. Starbucks always skimps on flavoring and their espresso is not great.    [06 Nov 2007 20:55:55]
