One of two fast Mex choices
Standard Fast Food Mexican type, Taco Delite differs in some of the basic ingredients; their Nacho Cheese is of the Velveeta variety, which doesn’t appear as oily as the Cheddar type but if you’re a lover of the Cheddar variety you will only find it on the tacos, and other graded cheese choices. Their meat although very favorable, appears high in fat content as evidence by the wrappers. If you’re on a Low Fat Diet, you might stay clear of the season meat and choose chicken or steak. Better tasting than Taco Bell

Best place to go...
Between the fresh made salsa to the finely crushed ice, Taco Delite is no secret to the Wylie public. Everything is prepared on site down to frying to flour tortillas for their fajita chicken salad. And don't forget your free ice cream cone when you are finished.    [04 Jun 2007 17:00:45]

Hometown Good
We have been coming to Taco Delite for years. It is always good and fresh as can be. The staff is smart,fast and always pleasant.

Teenage Workers and Manager = Worst Experience Ever
My friends and family loved Taco Delite in Wylie. We've been going there for years. It was great food and great service until one night. There was only teenagers running the night shift. The girl in the drive thru was so rude and had her attitude throughout the entire transaction. They made a mistake on my order so I went inside. I was so calm and polite and even called her ma'am even though I was a lot older than she was. She looked at the her manager and rolled her eyes. I told the manager that I didn't like her attitude and the manager (who was yet another teenager) didn't say a single word about it. The young lady who took my order got upset that I complained on her and stormed off to the back. I said that she was really rude. There was another young man just standing there starring at me and was yelling "ya-trick-ya" (which I knew from my cousin that it was a rapper who says that which means "get off my back"). I was so disgusted with their rudeness. I could not believe that I experienced the worst service in my entire life. I wanted to cry. My friends and family all used to come up there to eat all the time during the day. We knew the managers and they knew us. I will never return th this Taco Delite because of this. I will not give them my family and friend's business to pay their rude night crew. It was absoluatly disgusting.    [05 Apr 2008 23:41:25]
