Still great after 23 years of business
We travel all over the US in our business and we have never ate better catfish and boiled shrimp. The service is superb. We never miss our stop at Oak Valley Catfish when we are in the area. It is always great food.    [24 Jul 2005 14:03:22]

Best Catfish in Texas
This place has the best catfish on Lake Fork and in Texas, hands down! They also have really good boiled shrimp and oysters! The service is friendly and the resturaunt has a down home feel.    [30 Jan 2006 20:46:19]

French Fried Sweet Potatos
Even if the the food was bad (which it isn't), I would go there for the service. Best catfish, boiled shrimp, and french fried sweet potato sticks (you can't get them just anywhere!) We try to never miss a Friday night supper at Oak Valley    [15 Oct 2006 07:32:39]

Down Home Fried Catfish
I just finished another great catfish dinner at Oak Valley Catfish Kitchen. Since they are only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, the locals pack the place each weekend, and it's not unreasonable to spot a few out of state license plates. Their catfish is served up hot as are their cajun fries and other sides that can be selected. The service is great, and the prices are reasonable.    [13 Oct 2007 19:34:32]
