New Years Eve Dining Experience
Service was exceptional ( #22-Chelsea ) the food was great and tasty, but the Hostess should lose the chip on her shoulder and learn that customer service is not a remidial course in backlog management. Interesting that with 27 to 30 tables available, she held open 11 to 13 tables with no apparent reason other than to irritate those patrons that wanted to use the facility. At one point, she told prospective customers that the wait would be 50 to 70 minutes, when in reality, the wait was 10 to 15 minutes. One patron asked why the vacant table(s) and she went off on a tirade about control and that customers do not understand the restaurant experience like she did. By the way, she was not a day over 17 if that.
Management was made aware of the issue by the servers on duty but to no avail. Apparently management did not want to rock the boat and hurt her feelings. Basically screw the potential patron and keep the in-experienced, chip on her shoulder control freek.
Anyway, we did enjoy the meal and the time there. Going back for the service and food. Will attempt to by-pass the Hostess.
