Simply the best
The cafeterias at Deer Valley [ski season only] will change your mind about cafeteria food. Features a salad bar, sandwiches, hot entrées, soup/stew. Very expensive, but well worth it compared to the overpriced junk served at most ski resorts. Free coffee refills. There are multiple dining rooms on two floors. Agree with simply the best, but here is how to get a bargin lunch: Deer Valley's supurb soups/stews come with really excellent home made bread, generally an herb flavored Italian bread. One bowl of soup/stew + a handful of bread feeds two. Drink tap water.    [14 Jul 2001 07:02:55]
