Real Southwest Cooking You can get very well-prepared Navajo Tacos and sopaipillas. What else need be said?
All the dishes are very well prepared. Sauces vary from smokin' to mild, and you are properly warned. Even the complimentary chips are special. The only thing average is the prices. Actually, they're probably a bit below the norm.
Service is down home, but exceptional nevertheless. Friendly. Atmosphere is decidedly casual, but always clean. It's a no-nonsense place for people who like good southwest cooking -- something almost nobody has experienced outside the Espanola, New Mexico area.
There's no excuse for missing Nedra's if you're stuck in Kanab -- almost makes it worthwhile.
The rock shop at the other end of town is much better than you think it could be, too. Don't miss the town's canyon park, either. Better than a lot of state parks. [14 Oct 2006 22:39:51]
