The Best of India in Logan Utah
Coming from the San Francisco Bay area with hundreds of Indian restaurants to choose from I can honestly say that the Indian Oven is among the best Indian restaurants in the country.

The Buffet is gently spiced for those who might be timid to trying new dishes. While you can request take out orders as hot as you enjoy them.

The Indian Oven is just getting started in a corner of the gas station convenience store and is destined to be a landmark restaurant in Logan.

The desserts are really good and the Mango Lassi's are a must order for any regulars. The Chicken Tika Massala and all the other common dishes you would expect to see are top notch.

The owners make you feel like family and always look forward to seeing the returning faces of the many regulars. Be sure to say "Hi" and make a new friend.    [08 Dec 2004 20:29:43]

This is definitely one of the top 3 restaurants I have ever been to. The service is very very good. Matt and Justin are very good waiters. The treated me very kindly.    [31 Jan 2005 14:50:31]

The BEST!
The town of Logan is lucky to have such a great place to sit down (or take out) a great Indian meal. Keep up the great work!    [24 May 2005 20:16:46]

Get Real
The Indian Oven, located inside a Gas Station in Logan, Utah, does provide quality Indian food in an area of the country that offers few choices in terms of ethnic cuisine.    [28 Mar 2006 18:59:29]

Humming Food
Fourteen years ago I worked for an excellent Indian restaurant in Washington near WSU. The food, which the women would sneak to me, seeing that I was starving, was excellent (though I was a terrible waitress and didn't last long). I've tried since then to find Indian food as good but, until tonight, couldn't. The Indian Oven in Logan, Utah, however, is even better--and to think, I almost didn't go because the restaurant resides in a hidden-away room inside a gas station.

Ours was truly an amazing dinner...the kind that embarrasses you for the humming sounds you make while eating it, and the service (by Matt, also a chef there, along with his father, I'm told) couldn't have been better. Fortunately, the gas station part of the building was not visible from the dining area and the place smelled not of gas but of some wonderful incense, along with the smells of garlic, coriander, and the like.

The food is reasonably priced, but if you're a student, go for the buffet. It looked great and was much cheaper. I'm still smelling my hands, which smell of garlic and aromatic spices.    [22 Mar 2007 00:18:52]

Best Restaurant in Logan
Indian Oven is probably the best Indian Restaurant I've ever been to. Despite the fact that it was in a gas station (It has since moved to a bigger facility, but I haven't been yet), the decor and aroma were outstanding. The serving staff (and also the chefs!) were incredibly kind and hospitable. The food is outstanding, I can't wait to go back! I love eating here; it is definitely my favorite restaurant in the entire state.    [23 Jun 2007 14:15:23]

Our Favorite Food in Cache Valley
Don't come for the ambiance -- the dining room is in the back of a gas station! BUT, the food and service here are unsurpassed, as good as Indian food gets anywhere.

We go mainly for the vegetarian dishes, and we've tried them all here. The list of choices is long, and every one is fantastic. I do not say that lightly; we are pleased every time we go and so are all the friends we bring. It is our first choice when friends visit town.

The service is impeccable. If you go there more than one time, the servers greet you by name. In fact, they know our kids' names and now our grandson's name. Yet they don't hover or pry into your lives. It is an extremely pleasant experience, not pushy and an exceptionally friendly atmosphere.

I recommend it highly for a inexpensive-to-moderately priced dinner. We always order from the menu, but the buffet is an absolute steal for the budget conscious.    [21 Aug 2007 18:29:02]
