Taco Salad or Grilled Chicken Sandwich

Not The Cheapest, But By Far The Best Food in the Valley
If you want the best fish and chips, the finest fish burger, and some of the tastiest onion rings in the state, then the Purple Turtle is the choice. I worked there as a young man in the early seventies and I now live in Southern California. Whenever I return to Utah to visit family and friends I ALWAYS take the time to have a meal at the Purple Turtle. Its food is top notch and far above the competition!    [20 Sep 2004 12:26:34]

The BEST Fish 'N Chips and Onion Rings EVER
I have eaten in many food places and I have NEVER found any place that has Fish n Chips (hand cut) or Onion Rings (hand breaded and made fresh daily) than the Purple Turtle.

They are the first place I go to eat whenever I make it home to Utah Valley! It has been my favorite place to eat since I was a child. Why go to a chain store when you can go to a one of a kind ORIGINAL!    [07 Dec 2005 12:16:42]

Drive Thru
I have never been to a drive thru in my life that's treated me as badly as they do at Purple Turtle. I can't believe that every girl they hire (which is practically a new girl every week) is unprofessional. I can't even count the number of times I've been there in the last 3 months, let alone the last 10 years. Bestest of the Best
My husband and I love to go to the Purple Turtle whenever we can. He gets the Mile High Burger and I get the yummy Fish-N-Chips both with tater gems. Though the onion rings are awesome also. We also love to share a tornado shake since it is gigantic, even the small size. The fry sauce is the best in Utah and in Utah we know our fry sauce. If you come to Utah and miss the Purple Turtle it is like you go to Arizona and miss the Grand Canyon.    [15 Apr 2007 16:13:18]
